Over the course of two days, Barcelona transformed into a real magnet for thousands of highly qualified professionals as they gathered to discuss the hottest topics and newest trends in the affiliate marketing industry. Yellana, a RichAds AdNetwork project, is always eager to network, therefore we’d like to share our personal opinions and views of the Affiliate World Europe with you!
AWE is a worldwide affiliate marketing conference that took place at Fira de Barcelona on 12-13 July 2023. The event attracted 5000+ attendees, 35+ speakers, 170+ affiliate networks and 120+ advertisers from all over the globe. It is a prestigious event where marketers, advertisers, publishers, and other professionals come together to discuss best practices, explore cutting-edge techniques, and pick the brains of thought leaders.
As for the reports, speakers of the forum discussed a range of current topics related to the work of affiliate marketers. The primary tracks focused on TikTok, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Native Ads, and AI in advertising. But that’s not all – a separate track was created for the hottest affiliate marketing topics.
Many distinguished speakers, like Brendan Kane from Hook Point, Aleyda Solis from Orainti, Leonardo Caracas from Jump Ventures, and many others, delivered their cutting-edge insights.
Anna Gita, CEO of MaxWeb, was one of the most captivating speakers as she shared the ground-breaking techniques for creating high-converting VSLs for native ads and pre-sells. Alex Gryzunov from Pin-Up Partners was the other speaker that stood out; he provided some valuable tips and strategies for affiliates on how to thrive in the evolving iGaming sector.
In addition to hearing from speakers, guests had the chance to network with others at events like “Croissants & Conversions”, which was targeted toward first-timers who were unfamiliar with Affiliate World. However, “Affiliate After Hours” at Opium Barcelona at the end of day 1 was the main networking event. We had a great time there!
Anastasia Titova, Head of Yellana, shared the overall impressions on the event:
One of the greatest and most successful events in our market has always been the AWE. Because of RichAd’s reputation, our booth always saw a ton of traffic.
As usual, there were many companies, but this time I also noticed that many of them did not have a booth. It might be attributed to the fact that AWE adopted a lead generation-focused route because even the badge’s stickers had half of various leadgen offers on them.
Regarding parties, the majority of them have turned into paid events, which, in my opinion, seems to have an impact on the crowd and more lucrative interactions. As a young network, I believe we should attend some; in this instance, it is preferable to take care of tickets in advance. I don’t think it’s worth it to accept a sponsorship package at a party because it costs money and the purpose is unclear. In line for the party was where the coolest networking occurred!
Should we return next year? It is worthwhile to consider, particularly if sweepstakes, finances, and lead generation offers make up a larger portion of our lives than they do now. But considering that gambling is currently our top priority, we ought to think about going to the IGB Netherlands!
Indeed, we met a lot of our partners, including new affiliate marketing companies. Along with RichAds, we brought our amazing merch to give them!
AWE is a truly life-changing event that offers a wide range of networking possibilities and world-class speakers who are constantly honing their abilities and ours.
